Who is Zen Seraphine?
Bio
ZEN Seraphine (artist name for Zooey Seraphine, M.A.S.S.) is a professional sound therapist, recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. A lifelong musician, Zooey Seraphine discovered the power of music to help her cope with anxiety and transform trauma from a very early age.
She received her Master’s in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Applied Anthropology from Georgia Southern University on full scholarship and graduate research assistantship. As an intern and later a contract anthropologist, Zooey spent several years working with an awareness education and mindbody wellness program for migrant women who had experienced interpersonal violence. To further her research, she trained extensively in meditation techniques, dream therapy, CORE transformation, and other experiential therapies.
Her passion for helping others overcome obstacles and connect with their inner power led her to return to music, moving to Sarasota, FL, to pursue a music career and explore sound as therapy. She has since then founded The Sound Alchemy Method of Sound Therapy, and has collaborated with The OM Shoppe & Spa to bring informed, evidence-based sound therapy education to Florida and beyond.
ZEN Seraphine’s mission is to help others discover the power of sound to bring their body, mind, and spirit to wholeness. She is passionate about guiding others to their inner strength and helping them find their way to their innermost dreams. As an instructor, her goal is to advance the way sound is used for client-centered transformation, and offers education focused on the role of using sound, guided inner journeying, language, and trance states for inner change.

Zooey has taught private lessons, as well as public school group classes, and group classes for Arts Councils for over 16 years. She brings that wealth of experience and knowledge to her current mentorships & courses. She currently performs as a professional musician all over Florida and the Southeast.
Yogic Mystery School/ Nada Yoga/ Other Meditation Trainings
Completed Yogic Mystery School with Russill Paul in Summer 2020. Besides this most recent training into Nada Yoga, ZEN Seraphine has completed Reiki Usui Master Certification, Reiki Crystal Master/Teacher Certification, Guided Imagery Meditation Workshops, & Mindfulness Meditation Training Workshops.
